Web development, also known as website development refers to the development of websites for hosting via intranet or internet. Creating plain text pages to complex websites & web-applications is what we call Web development. Web development process includes web design, web content development, Creating web application & social networks, etc. It mainly deals with the non-design aspect of building websites. Web development is the coding or programming that enables the working of a website.    


Web developers imagins or take the design from the client (as per demand) and build them into a fully functioning website. In simple words, consider design as a picture, Developers take that design and break it up into components. Then they use HTML & CSS for creating the front-end or the main part of the website which is going to be visible to the visitors.
➤ Another major part of web-development is Hosting & Domain. A domain name refers to the named address or identification label for your location on the internet. Whereas website hosting provides a powerful server, which is constantly connected to the internet with many connections. Registering a domain name secures that specific internet address. No one else can use that particular domain name on the internet. For example, if you register a website with domain xyz.com, the agency from whome you have registered your domain will ensure that no-one other than you use that domain name for their website.

 To deploy a website online there has to be a computer which is connected to the internet where the website which is to be hosted is stored so that people from all over the world could access it. This could be done by getting rented file space on a hosting company's web server. So that can You put your website files in that space, and the web server serves the content to web users who request it.

  • Front End Elements.
  • Structure.
  • Content.
  • Graphic Design.
  • Security.
  • Media.
  • Back End Elements.

➤ Major Languages In Which A Full-Strack Website Is Coded: 


  • HTML - Hyper Text Markup Language is the standard markup language for creating web pages and web applications. HTML contains only the text content of the webpage. With HTML images and objects like interactive forms can be embedded into the web page. scripting language such as JavaScript which affects the behavior and design of web pages can be embedded in HTML code.  

  • CSS -  Cascading Style Sheets is a style sheet language used for describing the presentation of a document written in a markup language. Although most often used to set the visual style of web pages and user interfaces written in HTML and XHTML. CSS is designed primarily to enable the separation of presentation and content, including aspects such as the layout, colors, and fonts. This separation can improve content accessibility, provide more flexibility and control in the specification of presentation characteristics, enable multiple HTML pages to share formatting by specifying the relevant CSS in a separate .css file and reduce complexity and repetition in the structural content.  

  • JavaScript - It is used to make web pages interactive and it also provides a better environment for online programs with high graphics requirement to work smoothly on a browser (All the transition effects we see while using apps like Instagram, Snapchat etc are because of JavaScript), including video games. Every website on the internet with transition effects and impressive Interface uses JavaScript. JavaScript is supported in all modern web browsers without the need for plug-ins.   

➥ JavaScript is considered as one of the most difficult language to learn. That is why most of the online web-development courses teach JavaScript at the last when the student gets comfortable with HTML & CSS. So, if you are willing to learn web-development start with basics ie HTML & CSS.


  •  PHP - PHP is a server-side scripting language designed for web development. PHP code can be embedded into HTML code. The intermediate between a website and a server is what PHP is,  The Output of  PHP is HTML.


➥ Recommendation:  If you are willing to learn web-designing or web-development you should start with HTML & CSS, and then move forward to JavaScript. As HTML is the most basic part of a website. All the raw content present on the screen is coded in HTML. Without learning HTML one cannot move forward to learn the others.
