But here is a catch Apple don't let you control the speed of Animations so you can't turn it off to make it more fast and one more thing to note is that Apps currently are not updated to support the iPhone X display and hence there can be performance issues but what's positive here is Apple's developer community is very active and soon most of the Apps will get their iPhone X update to perform better on it.FaceID
FaceID is the most controversial part on this iPhone,most of the times it work flawlessly.It's been tested to work all the different kinds of sunglasses on and even with a cap on but it do have sometimes delay in unlocking when you are in direct sunlight as the light is too bright for it to sense but if you compare it with the number of times it not able to recognize you is as same as is not better than touch ID,also an advantage you might consider over touch ID is that it can work with your fingers wet or in gloves or maybe dirty with food oil.Still face ID is new and it needs to get developed but it's definitely more secure and easier to use if you get a hang of it!

Camera
Camera on the new iPhone X is remarkable specially for stills infact it's the highest rated smartphone ever to get a DXO rating of 101 for stills ans when compared to pixel 2 with a score of 99!what's interesting to note here is the rating for video,iPhone X gets 89 where as pixel 2 gets 96 so if you are shooting a ton of videos then pixel 2 might be the one for you and if you are shooting a ton of photos then no doubt go for the iPhone X.
Whats new here like the portrait mode last year is portrait lighting in the front and the back camera,the above image was the stage effect of the portrait lighting mode.It add artificial face lighting for the beautiful portrait looks,it's currently in beta but you can still use and enjoy it!
Things that might concern you
As every new iPhone release it's new software is yet to be fully optimized as Apple don't take it's OS directly for free from Google just like some other companies do.So things like multitasking,AI,front portrait Selfie,some basic optimizations are yet to be made but as it's Apple and they have the full control over their software it's not that hard for them to make it's a really great experience.The other thing to note is about the notch on the top of the screen it's always their if it the something you hate then defiantly don't go for this iPhone as it isn't something that can be fixed with some software update.There is also a new display issue arising where the display would freeze in cold temperatures although apple has already fixed it but it's still worth noting!and lastly there is also some weird green lines appearing on the screen on some iPhone X (20 reported so far) and Apple is giving free replacement to those units!
