Pixel 2 XL | Simply Amazing

Nexus Phones were one the most awaited phones every year because of how good they were in every aspect of the phone, But when Google Launched Pixel as their new line of phones which would be made by Google and hashtag #MadeByGoogle was trending.

 Now in 2017 we have 2nd Edition of the Pixel named as Pixel 2. It is a mixture of amazing phone with hardware problem, but that doesn't make it a bad device, It is the best device launched in 2017.

 There are 2 phones the Pixel 2 and the Pixel 2 XL, We will be talking about Pixel 2 XL.

DISPLAY 

One the major issues that the Pixel 2 XL had was the display, Since the device has a OLED display which has a tendency to have a Blue color shift when titled, which was a huge problem because for a phone that costs this high a person expects it to have no issue. 
The Display is a 18:9 aspect ratio which gives a bezel less display, not completely bezel less but near bezel less. Initially the colors were not very punchy such as a Samsung Displays which are really colorful.

SPECS 

The Pixel 2 XL has a 6" inch display with resolution of 1440 x 1080 pixels, it has the latest OS out of the box Android Oreo 8.0, powered by a Snapdragon 835 processor and a Adreno 540, It does not a External SD card slot but comes with 64/128 GB of storage, 4 GB RAM.
It has 12.2 MP camera with phase detection & laser autofocus, dual-LED flash, It can record video at  2160p@30fps, 1080p@30/60/120fps, 720p@240fps.

BATTERY 

Battery life on Pixel Devices are always great, one of the major reason for this is the software optimization these devices has which is the best. It has a 3520 mAH battery which will last you all day.

SPECIAL FEATURES

Google has included some new features that improve the overall usability of the device.

i) Squeeze - Google has added a Squeeze to activate Google Assistant, the sensitivity can be increased or decreased depending upon your needs

ii) Always on Display - Always on displays with Notification was first seen in Moto devices, now Google also has this feature with a special feature which can tell you which song is playing in the background without even you asking about it.





FINAL VERDICT


Pixel 2 XL is the best device launched this year which has a potential to improve with time with software upgrades.
