Is This Facebook's Take On Apple's HomePod?
Apple recently in WWDC17 introduced their HomePod which is basically a smart Siri speaker that will be available in the fall at $349,following the smart speaker trend set in 2017 it's rumored that the social media giant might also come with it's own smart speaker.
It's rumored by Digitimes that the speakers might have a 15" touch panel for operations etc. Although we don't know how much to believe in this as Facebook don't have any smart assistant yet and yes a 15" screen is too large for a smart speaker to have.
Also a recent poll said that 28% people don't trust Facebook at all and 34% said not very much where as 32% people said somewhat trust worthy so it's pretty clear that most of the Facebook users don't trust Facebook on their personal data, this could be a big problem for Facebook's new rumored smart speakers.
And if we look into Facebook's hardware history as Facebook launched a Facebook phone in 2013 based on Android with it's soul function of accessing Facebook and it didn't went well so let's see how this rumor take it's shape!
