iOS11 Top 11 Features

iOS 11 is finally here and its available on the following devices:

• iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone SE, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus

• iPad Air 1, iPad Air 2, iPad Pro (12.9, 2015), iPad Pro (9.7), iPad 2017, iPad Pro (10.5), iPad Pro (12.9, 2017),iPad mini 2, iPad mini 3, iPad mini 4

• iPod touch (sixth generation)

As we all know it was announced in WWDC2017 on 5th June with it's developer beta,while we can see a public beta at the end of June and a full version launch somewhere around September.If you are a apple developer then you can get the beta at Apple's website.

Without wasting more time lets get to our top 11 iOS11 features.

1. Siri :Now Siri has 2 new voices a male and a female with far more human touch to it.It also has a new modern Apple Music like UI with bold fonts and a writing feature. Siri can now even translate directly into Chinese,French,German,Italian and Spanish. Siri also is starting to learn the user's Apple device using habits across all of your Apple devices to get more personalized and with better suggestions for you.

2.App Store: App store is now more cleaner with in-depth features and interviews with developers.It also allows to only buy in-app purchases of a app in case any of your family member wants it by family sharing.

3.Control Center: Control center is more customizable than ever before.You can add/remove toggles from it,it even has a screen recording toggle .You can also 3D touch almost every tile in the new beautiful tiled UI of control center providing them with more precise controls.

4. DND while driving: Now in iOS11 your iphone can know when you are driving and will offer you to turn the screen off completely,and if someone texts then will provide with a smart reply.If someone really has something urgent then they can reply with "urgent"and the message will be notified to you.

5.Apple Maps: Apple finally added lane guidance to the apple maps in iOS11 and an interesting new feature with indoor mapping and guidance of major Airports and Malls for easier navigation.

6.Apple Music: In iOS11 you can create your own profile and share what you are listening to with your friends and also see what they are listening to.Yes you can also keep your JB songs private from your friends and obviously they can too.

7.Apple Pay: Apple is now integrated with iMessage,so now you can send/request money to your contacts directly from an imessage conversation

8.AirPlay2: iOS11 will now let you play audio through multiple speakers directly from the control center.Many companies like Dynaudio, Bang & Olufsen, Bowers & Wilkins and Bose have signed up for the new airplay feature.Airplay2 also has Apple TV support and obviously the new Homepod support.

9.HEIF: The new high efficient image file format reduces the image size by 50% without a loss in it's quality.This is really neat feature for devices with only with 16GB of storage.

10.Screenshot Editing: iOS11 now gives you all the writing/editing tools after taking a screenshot.You pretty much can mark anything in the screenshot with all the familiar tools that you get in your notes App in the iPhone. 

11.Photos: How can one not include the new editing tools in the photos app of iOS11. Now Live Photos are also editable so you can trim the video loops or select the key photo, mute the Live Photos, create Loops, Bounce the Live Photos and set up a Long Exposure also while watching Memories movie in the photos app, you can rotate it to portrait or landscape mode and further your iPhone/iPad/iPodtouch will automatically adjust to the new orientation and will automatically give you the best results for the memory movie.
